So here we go with my favorite TV shows of the 1980s. I am sure you will see some you will recognize.
Cosby Show

This is one of my all-time favorite shows. Watching it now I really appreciate the good lessons it teaches you without the Cosby kids really getting into too much trouble. This used to be a regular weekly watch in the Stewart family.
MacGyver

Who didn't love MacGyver! This is still one of Taylor's favorite shows, I even bought him the first season on DVD! How could you not love a guy that can make a bomb out of a toothpick and old chewing gum.
Fraggle Rock- This was kind of trippy, but great for a kid! I love the little songs and even saw the song that the little Doozers on TV at Gymboree about a year ago. I sang along in the store and embarrassed my friend who was buying baby clothes. I would suggest checking it out if you missed this one as a kid.
He-Man and She-Ra- "I have the POWER!" "She-Ra, Princess of Power!!" Enough said.

Thunder Cats- I think I always liked Thunder Cats a little more than He-Man and She-Ra but it was a close competition. I used to love the theme song, "Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thunder-Cats!"

Rainbow Brite- I think all girls loved Rainbow Brite in the 80s. She is just great! You gotta love her sense of style!
The World of David the Gnome- Some people may not know this one, it is an old Nickelodeon show that was great. David was always helping injured animals and creatures and he got to ride of this Fox named Swift. Great show, good values! Kind of pushed me toward the medical field.

Finally, (I feel like one of those people at the Oscars who won't stop thanking people) shout out to Care Bears, The Smurfs, Heathcliff, The Paw-Paws, Shirt Tales, Smurfs. Strawberry Shortcake, Punky Brewster, ALF, The Wonder Years, Etc, etc, etc....
This was a lot harder to narrow down than I thought it would be.

I'm having a great time reading what you remember from those years. I've also pointed it out to the "kids" I work with and they have been laughing and remembering as well. I had forgotten some of those shows but when you listed them, the theme songs have come back to me.
