Just wanted to write a quick post for everyone in the blogging community to keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers. About a week ago my mom found out that she has a large (football-sized) mass on her ovary. She immediately called me and I got her in to see the doctor I work for. It has been a whirlwind ever since, with the final result being that she is having surgery tomorrow to remove the mass. Right now, all signs are pointing to this NOT being ovarian cancer but we will have a gynecological oncologist standing by if needed. I know that my mom is in good hands, but I am, of course, still very nervous for her. I just wanted to let everyone know that this is going on and to please be thinking of her tomorrow morning. I think she is on just about every prayer list from here to Nebraska but every thought and prayer helps. Thank you all so much! I will post an update on her condition when I know what it is.
